The
Band |
 |
Robert Evans - Lead vocals and rhythm guitar. He’s the man that first formed the band, and is our country music expert. Robert will be the first to tell you—he’s “country as cornbread.” When Locked and Loaded is on stage, just look for the cowboy hat and the microphone stand with a beer holder.
Strengths: Sad country songs. He’ll sing them until you’re weeping.
Weaknesses: Margaritas. He’s only allowed to drink them after the third set.....otherwise he starts singing like a lonely beagle. It’s not a pretty sound.

 |
Chad Barger - Organ, piano, and lead vocals. He’s an experienced driving musical force for the band, formerly touring with Cravin’ Melon. Chad has also spent time in regional rock bands such as Museum and The Ultraviolets. A great vocalist for lead or harmony, Chad can make a Hammond Organ sing.
Strengths: Dragging around a 150 lb. Leslie speaker cabinet—by himself.
Weaknesses: A strange desire to morph Locked & Loaded into a Pink Floyd tribute band. No, Chad....we are not learning “Dark Side of the Moon”.

 |
Mark Brown - Lead guitar and vocals. Mark’s has played for more than 15 years, but only decided to play with a band in the last few years. He found Locked & Loaded, and started pickin’ and grinnin’. Mark’s tasteful riffs and soaring melodies take the band to new heights.
Strengths: A pop culture music mind that includes lyrics and chords to thousands upon thousands of songs. He’s a one man karaoke machine
Weaknesses: Lack of ability to shut up. Mark’s chatty. Just ask. He’ll tell you.
|
 |
Danny Billings - Bass and vocals. Danny is the other piece of Locked and Loaded’s
rhythm section. Danny is another musical vet, playing in regional county band
Southern Gold in the 80’s and 90’s. More recently, Danny did time in an alt-rock/party band, but made his return to blue collar country and southern rock with Locked and Loaded.
Strengths: Rock solid bass lines. We’ve never heard him miss a note....yet.
Weaknesses: Chronic Lyricosis: A disease that randomly affects Danny’s ability to remember song lyrics. He has yet to find a doctor who can treat this illness.
|
 |
Scott Sifford - Drums and vocals. He’s been playing in bands for years, but found his home in LNL. Scott brings the big bang to the rock music, and pulls it back perfectly for the easier country songs. But you can only contain him so long. Be ready for the thunder, because sooner or later, it’s coming.
Strengths: A true talent for making people laugh.....whatever it takes!!!Weaknesses: Broken microphones. Something about Scott’s very presence causes a vocal mic malfunction. It may be a band conspiracy.... Scott has his suspicions.
